Small Christian Community
St. Matthew Chapel, Monday, March 29th 7:00 PM
Have you ever wanted to be a part of a small community who reflects on the Gospel on a regular basis? Small Christian Communities (SCC) are just that, a group of parishioners who gather as a small segment of the larger church to pray the scriptures and connect faith and life. We use a lexio divina process of listening to the readings to connect our life experience and God’s call to be his disciples. Groups usually meet monthly either in member’s homes or in a church meeting space.
If you would like to learn more, please come to a meeting on March 29th at 7:00 PM in the Chapel at St Matthew’s and hear how participation in a SCC can enriched your faith life. We will be forming a new SCC and would like you to be a part of it. For any questions, or if you want to come and cannot make it, please call Deacon Mike at 860-841-0046
