We are looking for: 1 person to join a Tuesday team that works once a month 2 people to join the 3rd Wednesday of each month team. Hours are 4:45pm - 6:00pm. Jobs include setting up, serving the meal, clean-up, wiping tables, sweeping and mopping. The soup kitchen is located around the corner from St. Bernard. During the month of May, 2018, the St. Bernard Cemetery Committee conducted a survey of the four Catholic parishes in Vernon, Tolland, and Ellington (St. Bernard, St. Joseph, St. Luke and St. Matthew) for the purpose of gathering information to assist us in determining a long term plan to upgrade the St. Bernard cemetery property, extend the useful life of the property and to assure its sound fiscal operation.
