Last weekend the Combined Collection for World Charities which consists of the following collections: Catholic Relief Services, The Campaign for Human Development, Aid to the Church in Central and Eastern Europe, and assistance for The Holy Land was taken up. If you were unable to bring your gift envelope, extra envelopes are available in Church.  Your support of these needs of the Universal Church is greatly appreciated. Your envelope can be dropped in the collection basket next weekend or mailed directly to the parish.  Thank you.

From Our Business Manager, Brian Kenny Effective July 1, 2019, St. Bernard and St. Matthew will be canonically and legally merged into a new parish, Blessed Sacrament Parish, with worship sites at St. Bernard and St. Matthew. While yoked for four years, both St. Bernard and St. Matthew kept their finances separate and had separate finance councils. Don’t want the hassle of returning your empty cans, bottles and plastics?  Donate them to the Pro-Life Ministry by dropping them off in the designated trash bins outside the dumpster area.  Please be sure they are returnable and uncrushed.  PLEASE LEAVE BOTTLES AND CANS IN BAGS - they are easier to pick up.  Your generous donations are very much appreciated.

Prayer Shawl Ministry Meeting

Join us this Tuesday for the concluding prayer service of our Novena to St. Peregrine. Prayer booklets will be available for those who were unable to attend the first day.  You can begin on day 9, and pray the other days on your own. Everyone is welcome to stay for refreshments in the hall after the prayer service. Through our prayers we unite all our suffering to Jesus, who is the source of healing, comfort, and strength.
