Please consider volunteering for the St. Matthew Children’s Liturgy of the Word Ministry. We currently have a very small group of volunteers and we need some help. We have a fun group of kids, which makes volunteering very fulfilling. We use a book that guides us through the celebration and we do a good job of scheduling so you know in advance when you’re on. If you can help out once a month (or every other month) - that small commitment of time will go a long way towards ensuring we keep the ministry going for the kids. Join with a friend! If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact Stace...

At St. Matthew Preschool: Our students have been busy learning, creating, playing and growing this year! Recent events include: A visit from the Lutz Children’s Museum. Both classes enjoyed learning about animals, tracks, and habitats. During Music Together we played with scarves & egg shakers while moving rhythmically to a variety of cultural music. The children have so much fun during our special music time. It is amazing as teachers to see how music ignites all areas of child development. Our CT certified Art Specialist taught a lesson on Vincent Van Gogh to the four year old class. The st...

Dear Parishioners, We’ve all heard it said that a new year means new opportunity and a fresh start.  I’ve also heard it shared that when we enter the New Year we need to reflect on our past, learn from it and move ahead; stronger, smarter and more determined.  The question I have, however, is what are we moving towards?
